ZTE has just unveiled the Nubia My Prague smartphone at an event in Prague. The handset will be available across Europe, with no word on a global or a North American release at this point. The distinguishing factor here is the handset’s super slim 5.5 body, which is quite impressive for a powerful smartphone such as this.
The Nubia My Prague is packing a 5.2 inch 1080p display, an octa core Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2 or 3GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage options, a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 2,200 mAh battery with 4G LTE on board.
The battery size could be a concern for many given the powerful display on board. But this was a necessary sacrifice from the company to accommodate the thickness. The manufacturer is using a rather strange marketing tactic for the smartphone wherein there’s a 2GB/16GB model on offer in the White Gold color, while there’s another with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage sporting a White Gold body.
The 2GB RAM variant has been priced at €349 ($390) while the 3GB model will set users back by €429 ($479). We’ll keep our ears peeled for any word on a Stateside release.
