Uncarrier T-Mobile has announced a new family plan earlier today, which brings 10GB of data each to four members of a family. This will cost just $120 per month and is going to be heavily endorsed by the carrier in the coming weeks. Speaking on the occasion, the CEO of T-Mobile John Legere took the offensive towards Verizon, which also has similar plans but with a higher price tag.
The same plan when compared with Verizon’s MORE Everything plan comes out to be cheaper by about $240, so T-Mobile has clearly struck gold yet again with this new Uncarrier promotion. This is only valid for customers who get the connection between now and Labor Day 2015, as the original plan involves 10GB of data each for two customers at $100, with an additional line costing $20.
But thanks to this limited period promotion, the carrier will give you a fourth line for free as well, which essentially means that you will be shelling out $120 per month for 40GB of data shared evenly between four people. This is an attractive deal from the carrier although we’ve seen better promotions from them in the past. What do you think?
