T-Mobile is continuing on its merry run according to its latest quarterly figures. The carrier is said to have added 2.1 million customers in the period ended June 2015. This is an improvement of nearly 300,000 customers from the previous quarter and the ninth consecutive time that the company has seen growth with each passing quarter.
The carrier had wholesale net customer additions of 886,000 in the quarter, while there were 1 million branded postpaid net customers and 178,000 prepaid customers (up by 75% year-over-year). The carrier will hope to continue this run over the coming months and with its customer friendly promotions that are currently running, that shouldn’t be a tough ask.
The carrier has an intense social media rivalry with the likes of Sprint and AT&T, with the CEO John Legere personally involved in most of them. T-Mobile’s focus on bringing the customers’ needs first and not focusing too much on profit margins has done wonders for their bottom line and the carrier is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
