The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was previously rumored to be launching on the 12th of August. But according to a new leak, the company will instead launch the device on the 13th of August, a day later than previously rumored.
What’s more interesting is the mention of the handset sporting a microSD card slot underneath, which is a leaf out of the old-Samsung book. The company decided to ditch the use of expandable storage with the new Galaxy S devices and it was believed that the company would follow the same path with the Galaxy Note 5, but that doesn’t appear to be the case, at least according to this leak.
This revelation that was originally made by a Polish source further states that Samsung is sticking with a non-removable battery this time, but with a gargantuan 4,100 mAh unit, which should easily eke out a day’s heavy usage.
It is also said that Samsung will stick with 3GB of RAM, even though reports mentioned 4GB of RAM on the device. Further details are awaited on the next big thing from Samsung and we can expect leaks to give us a fairly good idea along the way.
