Verizon’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has started receiving an update through the Samsung Kies software update tool, according to user reports. The update is a massive 2GB in size and there’s no word on what’s new, so it’s up to Verizon to publish the changelog and let us know.
Users are supposedly not seeing anything new with this update at this point, so it’s probably a server level patch (a relatively big one) from the carrier. If you see something noteworthy with the update, make sure you drop a comment below this post to keep the other readers informed.
The smartphone is still running Android 5.0.1 for those curious to know, and Android 5.1 is nowhere in sight as of now. But considering that carriers are yet to send out the update to the most recent Samsung flagships, we’re expecting the Galaxy Note 4 to be last on their lists. Are you seeing the update yet? Sound off below.
