A new report mentions how Samsung will be utilizing a new breed of the 16-megapixel ISOCELL camera sensor for the yet to be announced Galaxy A8 smartphone. It is said that the company is planning to utilize a sensor which is just 5mm thick and has a size of 1.0 µm, so the company has made some sacrifices in order to keep the thickness of the smartphone at bay.
The Galaxy A8 has already made its way to innumerable leaks in the past, but is yet to be officially launched by the manufacturer. It seems like Samsung wanted to make some last minute modifications to the device before going ahead with the launch. The handset is rumored to be sporting a 5.7 inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 5-megapixel front camera, the octa core Snapdragon 615 SoC, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3,050 mAh battery with 4G LTE support in tow.
The Galaxy A8 should break cover anytime now, considering that its existence is well known to the customers.
