The OnePlus 2 is all set for an announcement later today at 7PM PT. But it seems like the announcement will be redundant as the smartphone has just been leaked out in comprehensive hands-on photos, revealing everything that we needed to know about the handset.
First and foremost, the handset is confirmed to be packing a physical home button on the front, something which was first shown by a Chinese certification listing recently. We’re also seeing an improved speaker grill on the bottom of the handset, which looks more convincing than previous leaks. Overall, a big upgrade for those anticipating the release of this new flagship.
The back panel of the smartphone has also seen some changes, but mainly with regards to the positioning of the LED flash and the camera sensor. The company is sticking with the surface that was adored on the OnePlus One, which is a big plus for the fans.
A benchmark listing we covered earlier confirmed that the handset would be packing an under clocked Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera etc and we see no reason to doubt that at the moment.
