With the OnePlus 2 all set for a July 27 unveiling, a new leak is now giving us a very good idea of the company’s design philosophy for the smartphone. If these sketches are anything to go by, then we could see the next OnePlus flagship sporting a dual lens camera arrangement on the back, much like the One M8 from last year.
That being said, it’s very likely that this is merely an early mockup from the company and we might be reading too much into it. In any case, it gives us an insight of the company’s design policy and it’s clear that not a lot has changed compared to the predecessor. We can see a hint of glass and metal here as well, which could very well be the case this time around as expectations are high from the Chinese startup this year.
The company has told us that the handset would be packing a Snapdragon 810 SoC, a reversible USB Type-C connector and a fingerprint scanning sensor. But the company hasn’t revealed the camera specs as well as the display size and resolution of the smartphone, so it’s possible that the company wants to keep some surprise for the 27th.
