With the OnePlus 2 expected to be revealed on the 27th of July, leaks and some other revelations made by the company directly are giving us word on the hardware specifications of the handset. Yesterday’s leak was a little disheartening as it mentioned that the handset could be featuring the same 5.5 inch 1080p display that we saw on the OnePlus One.
Today’s leak comes from a case manufacturer Orzly who has listed the case for the OnePlus 2 on its official page. While it’s common practice for manufacturers to jump the gun and list their accessories on the site prematurely, Orzly’s new listing has given away more than intended. The back of the case reveals a relatively large cutout, suggesting that OnePlus might be housing something more than just a camera sensor there.
The company has made it official that the device would be featuring a fingerprint scanner, so this render could very well be hinting at that. Another theory suggests that OnePlus might be using a dual lens setup like the HTC One M8, but the jury is still out on that one. What do you think?
