A recent rumor spoke about Samsung’s intentions to launch the Galaxy S6 Plus smartphone later this month. And there’s more information coming through on this mystery device in the form of an image leak.
Accessed by renowned tech reviewer Marques Brownlee or MKBHD, the image shows a significantly larger device compared to the Galaxy S6, as visible from the app tray at the bottom which houses five icons instead of just four that we see on the current Samsung flagships.
The design is pretty identical to the Galaxy S6 Edge, including the curves on the edges, so this could be a bigger variant of the flagship. There’s also an image showing the camera of the handset, but it doesn’t tell us anything new.
It doesn’t make sense for Samsung to launch a bigger variant of a recently launched flagship so early in the day, so we’re taking this report with a pinch of salt for the time being. There’s even a video showing the device in action, so perhaps there is some truth to this after all.
What do you make of this new leak?
