Note 4 Not Downloading Apps

Problem: Hello I have a Note 4 and since I got it I have alot of problems with trying to download my apps also the camera wont take good clear pictures , I’m getting so frustrated after spending so much money in this phone is there something I can do ? please let me know if you can help.

Solution: regarding the download issue there are many factors to consider as to why this is happening. Start with the network. Do you have a good Internet signal? If you can’t open a webpage on your phone browser then chances are you won’t be able to download apps. Try switching between different Wi-Fi sources or better yet try using your mobile data.

Another factor to consider is your account. If you are downloading apps on the Google play Store then try to logout of your account and log back in using a different account. Check if you are now able to download any app.

If the problem still persists then proceed with wiping the cache partition of your phone. This may also resolve your camera issue.

  • Turn the device off.
  • Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time: Volume Up key, Home key, Power key.
  • When the phone vibrates, release the Power and Home key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up key.
  • Continue holding the Volume Up key until the Android System Recovery menu displays and then release. This step may take several seconds.
  • Press the Volume Down key to highlight ‘wipe cache partition.’
  • Press the Power key to select.
  • When the wipe cache partition is complete, ‘Reboot system now’ is highlighted.
  • Press the Power key to restart the device.

Finally, if all else fails then back up your phone data and do a factory reset.

Note 4 Video Player Rewinds On Its Own

Problem: Hello.. To whom it may concern.. I own a galaxy note 4 and suddenly my default video player app will rewind itself on its own without me even touching the screen. Just yesterday it was playing fine and now it is acting strange.  I have deleted all data and cache and it still does it.  This problem is completely new to me.  Please help!

Solution: Try to start your phone in Safe Mode to check if a certain third party app installed in your phone is causing this problem.

  • Release the Power key when the Samsung logo appears but continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
  • Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  • Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.

If the problem does not occur in this mode then it is most likely caused by an app that you installed. find out what app this is and uninstall it.

Note 4 Google Play Music Draining Battery

Problem: I have a note 4 that I love but I have one problem with it that is annoying. I would close all apps and the phone would keep draining the battery. I would open the apps running and the play music app would be running. I tried to clear that apps cache and it would 5 minutes later be up and running draining my battery. I finally just gave up on the app and disabled it and now my battery use is normal again. It is also starting to do this with message +.  If i don’t watch it it will go into search mode and drain the battery. Is there anything I can do to fix this.

Solution: If you see an app using too much battery then the first thing to do is to clear its cache and data. In this case however the issue still persists. The next thing you should do is to wipe the cache partition of your phone.

If the problem still remains then back up your phone data and do a factory reset.

  • Turn off the phone. If the phone will not turn off, remove and re-insert the battery.
  • Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time: Volume Up key, Home key, Power key.
  • When the phone vibrates, release the Power and Home key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up key.
