The Moto 360 is yet to get the Android Wear 5.1.1 update, and expectedly, the users are getting a little impatient with the delay. One such user took to Twitter and asked Motorola the reasoning behind this. And to our surprise, the company has finally broken its silence on the matter and mentioned that performance issues are the reason the smartwatch isn’t getting the update yet.
The company’s full tweet read – “Performance is not quite there yet. We’re working with Google to ensure the software works great on.” While this is somewhat relieving for owners of the wearable, the company failed to provide a precise timeframe for the release of the update.
This is slightly embarrassing for the company as the likes of the LG G Watch (the first Android Wear smartwatch), the Sony SmartWatch 3 etc have already received the update. We’re hoping that Motorola and Google resolve whatever performance issues were spotted and provide an update to the users soon.
