The 2015 Moto G is expected to break cover very soon as leaks have told us over the past few weeks. And a new leak of the smartphone has now revealed it all, thanks to a series of images as well as a video.
On the design front, we can see that the 2015 Moto G comes with a redesigned back panel which has a metallic strip on the back, while the current iteration utilized a relatively plain look. The handset also has a dual LED flash located right within the strip. Interestingly, the Moto X leak from a few days ago also revealed a similar looking device.
The leak also tells us that the 2015 Moto G will be packing a 5 inch display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel front camera, a quad core Snapdragon 410 SoC, 8GB of storage (expandable), 1GB of RAM, 4G LTE support and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Understandably, the device utilizes a budget specs sheet as it’s meant to primarily target the midrange markets across the world. Given that the 2014 Moto G is currently selling in the U.S., we expect the successor to be sold in the country as well.
