It’s well known at this point that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will break cover in September. A Chinese source is now giving us some insight on the hardware specifications of the device. It is said that the device will feature a sleek exterior, much like the Galaxy S line and also come with the new USB Type-C connector, which is going to be a standard for upcoming flagship devices, including the OnePlus 2.
The report further mentions that the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.98 inch Quad HD display, the Exynos 7422 SoC, a new version of the S-Pen stylus and the 4,000 mAh battery underneath. It’s good to see that Samsung is willing to bump the display size of the Galaxy Note this time around as we saw the Galaxy Note 4 to be featuring an unchanged display compared to the Galaxy Note 3.
We’re guessing the device will also be featuring the latest version of Android on board, which by the time could be a variation of Android 5.1. What do you make of this leak?
