[Deal] Get a Nexus Player from Amazon for just $70

Nexus Player

We saw the Google Store slashing the pricing of the Nexus Player by $20 recently. Amazon has now joined in on the discount action by offering the Android TV based home console for just $69.99 as part of a new deal.

Adding another $40 to the price will give you the ASUS GamePad as well, which is a must have if you intend to do a lot of gaming with the device. Considering the vast library of content available on the Google Play Store, it’s very likely that you will.

We’re not sure how long this pricing will last on Amazon, but we suggest you hurry before the retailer changes its mind. It is possible that Amazon is trying to undercut the Google Store’s pricing with this new deal, which can only mean good news for potential customers.

Among the handful of Android TV consoles available in the market, the Nexus Player is rated highly by reviewers as it comes straight from Google’s sheds. You can alternatively try the Razer Forge TV and the NVIDIA Shield console as well, which provide more power and features out of the box.
