With the ASUS ZenWatch 2 going official earlier today, a media report has now indicated that the device could be able to eke out 3-4 days of battery life on a single charge. This is possible given that the device is powered by an AMOLED display and a power efficient (Qualcomm) chip made specifically for wearables.
It is yet to be ascertained if this report is legitimate, but if true, ASUS could be heavily marketing this feature in the days to come. We didn’t come across much information regarding the battery life since recently, so we’re taking this report with a grain of salt until there’s more confirmation coming through.
The ZenWatch 2 features a smaller looking display and will be available in a wide selection of 18 or 22mm straps. The company hasn’t shared details on the pricing or availability of the wearable as it was only unveiled today, but we’ll have more information on that over the coming weeks.
