It hasn’t been too long since Samsung officially confirmed the form factor of the Gear A smartwatch. The company has now given us another look of the wearable, this time in the form of a UI screenshot while tracking the user heart rate. As we can see here yet again, this is a circular display wearable and has a very simple UI.
The company is also hinting that the Gear A will feature the company’s Exynos silicon inside, which is not a surprise considering that all previous Tizen based wearables have featured Samsung’s home-cooked SoCs. The screenshot was revealed by the official Samsung Exynos page, so this is coming straight from the source.
Of course, the company refrained from mentioning a release time frame, but we’re guessing we’ll have to wait a bit considering that Samsung isn’t expected to reveal the device until September, which is when the Galaxy Note 5 phablet is set to be unveiled as well.
