There’s no denying the popularity of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge globally. A new report now tells us that the company is facing supply related issues for the Gold Platinum variant of the two flagships as customers rally to get this exquisite looking model into their hands. The demand is believed to be so high that Samsung has apparently run out of stocks.
The company held a press conference to make sure this is public where they mentioned that 1 out of 4 Galaxy S6 handsets sold are the Gold variant. It is said that mostly the European markets will be impacted by this, so there’s no need for concern if you live elsewhere.
Even if you belong to Europe, Samsung has promised to increase production and streamline supply of this particular variant. The company has failed to divulge details on the actual sales figures at the moment, so it’s hard to tell if the company merely underestimated the demand or is actually seeing a spike in sales for the Gold Platinum model.
