Sony Xperia Z4 could land on Verizon’s shelves soon

Sony Xperia Z4 - Verizon

The Sony Xperia Z4 was announced by Sony without much fanfare about a month ago, but only in Japan. A new report suggests that the smartphone could be making its way to the U.S. as well, via the nation’s largest carrier Verizon.

The revelation was made by @evleaks a.k.a Evan Blass on Twitter, who hasn’t been as frequent with the leaks as before due to personal reasons. But he ensures to drop of some crucial info like this periodically. The tweet also mentions the arrival of the iPad Mini 4, the LG G Pad X 8.3 and the HTC Desire 526 through Verizon.

Unfortunately, there’s no release timeframe available as of yet, so we don’t know when the smartphone will be unveiled by Verizon. Given that the Xperia Z3v is currently available through the carrier, it’s only fair to assume that the carrier will also sell the Xperia Z4 somewhere down the line.

All we need now is a confirmation from either the carrier or the manufacturer. What do you think about this report?
