Sony Xperia C4 has just gone official for the global markets, sporting a wide angle front facing camera for those group selfies. The company utilizes a 5-megapixel front facing camera but with a 25mm wide angle lens and is accompanied by a flash, which is rare for a smartphone.
The rest of the hardware is pretty standard and there’s nothing out of the ordinary. Selfie oriented smartphones are in the trend these days as we’ve seen devices like the HTC Desire Eye breaking cover, so we’re not surprised that Sony is trying to leverage the demand. It must be noted that this is the company’s second selfie oriented phone, with the Xperia C3 launching with similar credentials last year.
The Xperia C4 comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 1.7 GHz octa core SoC made by MediaTek, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 2,600 mAh battery.
