For a little HDMI dongle that costs under $35, the Chromecast has turned out to be a great device since it was released by Google almost two years ago. And now, it gets a few more TV networks onboard.
Today, CBS, FOX NOW, HGTV, Pluto TV, FXNOW, and Haystack all now have Chromecast support, allowing you to beam content from your phone to your TV. The first four are all TV show apps and somewhat familiar to most people. Haystack is a news app that learns your habits and shows you related news.
All of the apps are free to download on the Play Store, though some may require a cable TV subscription. Even though that may be a requirement, now you can watch your shows on a bigger screen.
