Although Huawei is rumored to be working on a Nexus smartphone, a new revelation from a popular Android source tells us that Google is also prepping a 5.2 inch Nexus device made by Korean manufacturer LG.
It’s understandable that Google would use LG’s expertise for this device given its success in this particular display segment. All of this essentially means that Google might offer a large sized phone as well as a smaller device to appeal to a wider segment of the customers.
This is something Apple did very well last year and was immensely successful as well. We don’t have more details on this 5.2 inch smartphone at the moment, but the report is believed to be emerging from a reputed source, so we have reason to believe that this is indeed true. But as we often suggest in cases like these, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
It seems logical for Google to try out something like this given what we’ve seen in the market over the course of the past few months. What do you think about Google having two different Nexus devices in the market?
