According to Chevrolet, a large part of its 2016 car lineup will come with Android Auto support by default. More importantly, the company has mentioned that most of these will be included with the vehicle and will be available to the users at no extra cost whatsoever. The car manufacturer is essentially bringing Android Auto to most of its popular cars that will launch next year.
Here are the 2016 Chevrolet cars that will support Android Auto by default:
- Camaro (and Camaro Convertible)
- Silverado HD
- Corvette (and Corvette Convertible)
The good news is that even the base models of some of the cars like Spark, Cruze, Camaro etc will have Android Auto enabled by default at no extra cost. So like it or hate it, you will have an Android Auto enabled system on a Chevy car come next year.
We spoke about how the Hyundai Sonata (2015) will be the first car to officially feature Android Auto, but it’s good to know that more cars are being added to the list, although customers will have to wait until next year for that.
