LG’s premium grade wearable, the Watch Urbane has been expected to hit the shelves soon. And it seems like Verizon will be one of the first to carry it, if a leaked promotional image is anything to go by. As of now, no retailer has announced pricing related details of the Watch Urbane, but Verizon’s leak indicates that it will be priced at $349.99. What’s even better is the fact that it will supposedly be available starting tomorrow i.e. on April 28.
This makes sense given that LG is also expected to announce the G4 flagship tomorrow, so the company will share details of the Watch Urbane along with it. It goes without saying that the smartwatch will also be available through other major retailers across the country, but it’s good news that America’s largest carrier will be selling the device to its customers as well.
The $349.99 pricing is $50 more than the steel version of the Moto 360 and seems to be justified, given that LG has put in a lot of thought into the design of the Watch Urbane. Whether the customers will be willing to shell out that much for the Watch Urbane is only for time to tell.
