Renowned leakster, Evleaks or Evan Blass as he is known, has just revealed the complete hardware specifications of the LG G4 smartphone ahead of its official unveiling tomorrow. The smartphone, according to Blass, will contain a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, suggesting that there won’t be any changes as far as the display is concerned. Despite sporting the same display size, LG is said to be utilizing a new technology which significantly improves picture quality.
It is said that the smartphone will be slightly heavier as well, perhaps due to the curved display screen that is being using this time around. The thickness has also been increased apparently, but not by much. This, again, could be due to the curve in the display. The dimensions of the LG G4 are as follows – 5.9 x 3 x 0.4 inches, while the LG G3 has dimensions of 5.8 x 2.9 x 0.35 inches.
Other hardware specs of the LG G4 include 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 808 chipset, a 16-megapixel camera on the back with an f/1.8 sensor, an 8-megapixel front facing camera and Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone is also said to be packing a 3,000 mAh (removable) battery, with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology built in. The flagship will also support wireless charging, apparently.
