Samsung is expected to be launching an “Active” version of the Galaxy S6 very soon, much like we’ve seen over the past two years. This device has just been confirmed thanks to an internal inventory list from AT&T.
Since the leak originates directly from AT&T, it is enough confirmation of the fact that the device is indeed real. As we all know, the Active series is exclusive to AT&T, so don’t expect any other carriers to have the smartphone at the time of the launch.
Of course, this leak only tells us about the smartphone’s existence and doesn’t tell much about the hardware specifications. However, we can expect the handset to be announced by the carrier very soon. There have been reports floating around the internet suggesting that the Galaxy S6 Active will have a microSD card slot for added storage, which is a feature that’s missing from the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. The display, RAM, processor and the battery are likely to remain the same.
