The Samsung Galaxy S6 as we all know is slated for an April 10 release in the U.S. and a handful of other global markets. A new report now suggests that AT&T has begun the shipments of the smartphone ahead of time, meaning that the devices could reach customers’ hands before April 10. Some customers are reportedly getting a delivery date of Tuesday, April 7.
This is common practice in the tech industry and could give a leg up to AT&T in the race to becoming the most popular carrier in the country. Although it would take some beating to overtake Verizon’s numbers.
Interestingly, T-Mobile and Sprint have also announced that they will start shipping out units of the Samsung flagship sooner than April 10. This leaves Verizon customers out in the dark with regards to the shipping dates, but rest assured, the customers will have the smartphone in their hands by this Friday.
