The Motorola Droid Turbo is a very capable handset and a worthy heir to Motorola’s Turbo lineup of handsets. The company has now outed a new Blue Sapphire Ballistic Nylon version of the handset for Verizon Wireless customers. The smartphone, as it has been since day one, is an exclusive to Verizon subscribers.
The carrier is basically offering a new look version of the smartphone for those who thought the color options in the Droid Turbo line were fairly limited. This joins the black Ballistic Nylon variant and packs the same hardware as the rest of the Droid Turbo lineup.
If you’re in the market for a true hardware powerhouse, the Droid Turbo should be an instant choice. It packs a 5.2 inch 2K resolution AMOLED display, a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 21-megapixel camera, Android 4.4 KitKat and a massive 3,900 mAh battery with Motorola’s proprietary Turbo Charger included.
The handset can be yours for $199.99 with a two year contract or $599.99 off contract. You can also get the device through Verizon Edge for $24.99 per month.
