Sprint Offering Open Insurance Enrollment Throughout March

Right after AT&T announced an insurance offer, Sprint is now offering the same type of deal.

Throughout the month of March, Sprint is offering all customer the ability to get insurance for their LTE phones or tablets even if the original 30 day sign-up window has passed.

Sprint calls their plans “Total Equipment Protection” (TEP) and TEP Plus, with differentiating monthly fees depending on the age of your device. TEP Plus is only for “high end” devices though, so you might not be able to get that plan. Here is Sprint’s breakdown of their offerings:

Before you buy any insurance plan however, you should consider if you need it. If you’re more accident prone, then you should definitely consider this offer. If you’re very careful though, you probably don’t need these plans.
