According to a new revelation, the Sony Xperia Z4 will pack a near identical dimensions as the Xperia Z3 from last year. The leakster on Twitter claims that the upcoming Sony flagship will carry dimensions of 146.3 x 71.9 x 7.2mm, while the Xperia Z3 has dimensions of 146 x 72 x 7.3mm, which tells us that not a lot will be different with the Xperia Z4 in terms of size.
While there’s still some doubt on when the Sony flagship will break cover, leaks have revealed that the handset carries a Snapdragon 810 octa core SoC, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and possibly a Quad HD display. It has been said that Sony will equip the smartphone with its latest IMX230 camera sensor on the back, which should be able to capture some decent shots.
While it’s understandable as to why the Xperia Z4 isn’t creating a lot of buzz in the rumor mill, we won’t be surprised if it turns out to be a remarkable device. There’s a lot riding on this smartphone as the company was believed to have even contemplated an exit of the mobile industry. But it will ultimately come down to how well the company can tackle Samsung’s threat which has only heightened with the launch of the Galaxy S6.
