The hardware specs of the LG G4 smartphone might have been prematurely revealed by a benchmark site. Popular benchmarks database GFXBench has revealed the smartphone with the model number LG H815/LG-F500x.
This leak aligns pretty neatly with previous reports which indicated that the G4 will use a hexa core Snapdragon 808 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 810 chip as earlier believed. Overheating concerns on the Snapdragon 810 might have had a part to play in LG going with a slightly underpowered SoC.
Other specs of the smartphone include a 5.5 inch 2K display, a 16-megapixel camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone is revealed to be running Android 5.1, which is commendable of LG given that this version of Android was only recently unveiled by Google.
LG is hosting an event on the 28th of April which will officially unveil the G4 smartphone. We expect to learn more about the smartphone over the coming weeks.
