LG’s midrange offering from last year, the LG L90 is the latest recipient of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The manufacturer has reportedly begun rolling out the update to the handset, so users can expect it to find it on their smartphone anytime soon.
This is pretty decent for a smartphone which made its debut with Android 4.4 KitKat and a low end Snapdragon 400 SoC. It goes to show that if manufacturers make up their minds, nothing is unachievable. We hope this serves as an inspiration to the likes of Samsung and HTC who have only recently begun the Lollipop update for their flagships, with no word on their midrange devices as of yet.
The update is said to be about 780MB, so make sure you’re on a WiFi connection before proceeding. As for the changelog, not much is mentioned apart from Android OS Upgrade, but it’s safe to assume that the changes will be in line with what we saw on the LG G3 Lollipop update recently.
