The time has come for HTC to officially unveil the One M9 smartphone. And right on cue, the company has done so at Barcelona. Unfortunately, not much of it was a surprise as most of the hardware has been in the public domain for quite some time now.
So let’s get right to it without wasting much of your time. The smartphone packs a 5 inch 1080p display and packs ultra slim bezels, making it quite a looker. Unfortunately ,the familiarity with the previous two One smartphones is still there as the front facing speakers look almost identical.
The company is touting a unique dual tone design on one of its variants, which brings together gold and silver. Other hardware features of the smartphone include a 20-megapixel camera, a front facing Ultrapixel camera with a f/2.0 sensor size, an octa core Snapdragon 810 chipset (64-bit compatible), 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI. The smartphone comes with 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot.
The handset also comes with Dolby Audio powered front facing BoomSound speakers, which will offer a richer multimedia experience for the users. There’s a 2,840 mAh battery on board as well, which should be enough to last a full day given the resources on board.
The smartphone will be available for purchase in Asia, EMEA and North American markets sometime this month.
