HTC already unveiled the One M9 smartphone earlier this week, but it seems like the company is not done with its quota of flagships at the moment as the company is believed to be unveiling the HTC A55 a.k.a the One E9 handset later this month.
According to Upleaks, this smartphone will have a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, hence making it the first HTC smartphone to sport such a display panel. The smartphone is also expected to be packing the MediaTek MT6795 64-bit octa core SoC with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, BoomSound stereo speakers and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Interestingly, the leak also mentions that the smartphone is packing a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front camera or a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel camera, depending on the model.
There’s also a mention of a small battery, although there’s no word on exactly how small. It is said that the handset will be available in White Rose Gold, Metallic Gray and Brown Gold color variants. Launch is expected to take place by the end of this month, so we probably won’t have to wait long.
