With the Apple Watch going official recently, there has been enough talk about the pricing of the wearable. Taiwanese manufacturer ASUS is the latest to take a jibe at Apple with a short infographic suggesting that people should be out of their minds if they’re intending to invest in the “golden Apple” as the company likes to call it.
The company insists that users instead give the ASUS ZenWatch a try, which is one of the best Android Wear smartwatches available for purchase out there. While the 18k gold version of the Apple Watch costs $10,000 and higher, the ZenWatch will only set you back $199.99.
Despite the potential of the ZenWatch, the wearable hasn’t quite seen the success that the company would have hoped for. But as the market matures, ASUS can expect more love for its wearable. The smartwatch faces competition from within the Android Wear camp with the likes of LG G Watch R and the Moto 360.
