According to a new leak, Verizon’s variant of the Motorola Nexus 6 could arrive on the 12th March. The leak further mentions that the smartphone will be launching with Android 5.1 out of the box as well. The revelation was made by a Verizon uploaded video with reports even mentioning that promotional materials are already making their way to Verizon outlets.
The Nexus 6 will also have support for the carrier’s VoLTE networks apparently, so the smartphone will be well covered as far as hardware features are concerned. As for Android 5.1, we’re yet to see the update hit regular Nexus 6 variants, so it’s a little hard to imagine Verizon getting the update first.
The Verizon Nexus 6 was initially believed to be launching on the 26th of February, but its arrival was delayed by the carrier for some reason. If you’ve been looking forward to getting the Verizon Nexus 6, March 12th is the date to mark on your calendar.
The smartphone packs a 5.96 inch Quad HD display, a 2.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 805 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage, front facing stereo speakers and a 3,220 mAh battery.
