Hot on the heels of the HTC One M7 on Sprint getting Lollipop, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is now getting the update as well.
The update is essentially similar to updates other carriers around the globe have gotten, just optimized for Sprint with a new “enhanced” voice-over-wifi interface. You will get all the Lollipop improvements, as well as the Lumen toolbar being removed. The version number of the Lollipop update is G900PVPU1AOA6.
The size of the OTA update is 898.44MB and Galaxy S5 owners will need at least 3 GB of free space to download it. Once installed, according to Sprint, users will lose at least 950MB of storage space on their device, so a SD card would probably be a good thing to have.
