The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet was virtually unknown up until now, but thanks to a revelation made by Sony’s Xperia Lounge app, we now know that the device will break cover at the MWC 2015 event next week. This will be Sony’s second tablet within a span of six months after the Japanese manufacturer unveiled the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact in September. This model however sounds like a large sized tablet which could be a successor to the Xperia Z2 Tablet from last year.
The device is revealed to be packing a 2K resolution display, which when combined with a powerful processor and long battery life makes for an irresistible combination. Judging by the name, it’s clear that Sony will cram the latest hardware on the Xperia Z4 Tablet, including the octa core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset, although there’s no confirmation of this yet.
Unfortunately, the screenshot doesn’t share details on other hardware specs of the tablet as of now, but we should have more information from the company over the coming days. The screenshot suggests that the tablet will be official on the 3rd of March (0:00), so expect it to be announced a day prior on Monday.
