A new report has shed light on what to expect from Samsung’s new TouchWiz user interface which is expected to debut with the Galaxy S6. Sam Mobile believes that the stock TouchWiz UI on the upcoming flagship will be “amazingly fast”, at least compared to the Android 5.0 ROM on the Galaxy Note 4.
It goes without saying that Samsung will have some new software tricks to show off with the Galaxy S6 and this could be an indicator of that. Samsung’s smartphones have been rightly accused of being sluggish in the past, so this news is certainly welcoming.
Is it likely that Samsung is toning down TouchWiz and keep a more stock UI this time around? While it is a possibility, we don’t think Samsung will be willing to do away with all of its features that it has worked on for the past few years now.
The Android 5.0 ROM that we saw on the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note 4 showed no signs of that, so we’d be pleasantly surprised if things are different with the Galaxy S6.
