LG has just shown off the design and features of the Watch Urbane in a new promo video. The smartwatch is expected to be shown off in detail during next week’s MWC event.
From the teaser video, it is clear that the smartwatch will appeal to the masses with its premium design. The Watch Urbane is running Android Wear by default and features the same hardware as the LG G Watch R, including the circular display. So going by that, the Watch Urbane will be very familiar to users of the G Watch R.
The Watch Urbane is made of metal, which adds to the allure of the device. This could be LG’s only major announcement of the MWC as the company is not expected to launch any flagship smartphones in Barcelona. There will be a flurry of midrange smartphones on offer though, which could be the only handsets that will be shown off during the event.
In the meantime, make sure you watch the video below for a better idea of what to expect from the wearable when it is shown off next week.
