Another day, another Galaxy S6 related teaser from Samsung. After stumbling across a glimpse of the camera module of the smartphone, a new teaser posted by the Korean manufacturer is hinting that the smartphone will “give more time to others”.
It has been said in the past that the 14nm chip that the smartphone is using will be easy on the battery life of the smartphone. Battery consumption is expected to be reduced by up to 30-35% compared to standard 20nm chips. This also rests our concerns about the relatively smaller sized battery on the handset.
Samsung’s Exynos 7420 chip is reportedly being used on the Galaxy S6 in lieu of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. So knowing that the chipset will be a beast in terms of performance and not too heavy on the battery will be reassuring for concerned Samsung fans.
The smartphone will be announced on the 1st of March, so we don’t have to wait long to find out more about the handset.
