Owners of the cellular Nexus 7 have waited pretty long to get a taste of Android 5.0 Lollipop on their devices. And after months of waiting, the day has finally arrived as Google has officially begun the rollout of the update for both the 2012 and 2013 cellular models of the Nexus 7 tablet.
If you’re impatient to wait for an OTA update, you can just as easily download the manual OTA link from the links below. The update will bring a myriad of changes from Android 4.4.4 KitKat, so you might want to get your hands on this update quick.
Bear in mind that you will need some adb sideloading knowhow before proceeding with flashing these OTA files. Also, there is a possibility that you might lose all your data while flashing the update, so it might be wise to make a backup beforehand.
If you’re not willing to take the risk associated with sideloading ROMs, you might be better off waiting for that OTA notification to pop up.
But if this isn’t the first time you’re sideloading an update file, make sure you catch the download links for the zip files below.
