Are you a fan of the Rolling Stones magazine? Have you been searching for that one copy from 20-30 years ago which you cannot find now? Well, Google has you covered now as the entire Rolling Stones magazine archive will make its way to Google Play Newsstand. The arrival will be official this Friday on the 30th of January at 8PM Eastern Time.
All cover stories ranging back to the 60s will be available on Newsstand and Rolling Stones even plans to bring audio content for the readers sometime soon. Details of the deal struck by Google and Rolling Stones aren’t out in the open yet, but reports have suggested that Google could have purchased advertising in the “7 figure” mark, so this is a pretty big step for Google.
Google hopes to rope in more new users with this new addition and it might even succeed to some extent. There are tons of other magazines and content available on offer, so users will have plenty of magazines to read from. The Newsstand app is available on both Android and iOS which makes it accessible to a broad range of customers.
