With the Samsung Galaxy S6 expected to break cover in March, reports are now telling us a few things about the flagship. According to one new rumor, the handset could be packing as much as 4GB of RAM. However, it is said that only some models of the handset could feature beefed up RAM. We’re guessing Samsung will prioritize the availability of these models in regions like South Korea and the U.S., so the rest of the world markets might have to make do with the standard 3GB variant.
The Galaxy S from last year only had 2GB of RAM, so even if Samsung goes with 3GB of RAM with the Galaxy S6, it will still be an upgrade over the predecessor. The Galaxy S6 will also pack a 5.5 inch QHD display, an octa core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, a 20-megapixel camera on the back and Android 5.0 Lollipop with a new version of TouchWiz.
