Samsung launches a new version of the Galaxy Tab lineup every year. And this year will be no different according to a new revelation which suggests that the company could already be testing 7 inch tablets from the series over at its research facilities in India.
A device bearing the model number SM-T239 has just made an appearance on Indian import database Zauba indicating that the company has some plans to bring the device to the markets very soon. There are cellular variants of the tablets as well, although all of them appear to be 7 inch models. So it is possible that Samsung is testing out the same tablet in multiple designs.
The Galaxy Tab line traditionally consists of a 7 inch variant along with an 8 and 10.1 inch model, so we should be able to see the other two models subsequently. Not much is known about the hardware packing on this tablet, but since the Galaxy Tab line is usually targeted towards the budget segment, we should see it packing a midrange hardware at best.
