A new leak from China has revealed a rendering of the HTC One M9 or the Hima, which is expected to break cover later this year. While it’s clearly not the official render coming from HTC, it does look like something that will come out of the company’s sheds eventually. The speaker grill on the front is very reminiscent of what we saw on the Droid DNA a couple of years ago.
In any case, we’re merely treating this as a very hopeful fan made render of the smartphone. The device is expected to be packing a 5 inch 1080p display, an octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with a 13-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone will also be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop by default with HTC’s new Sense 7.0 user interface. We’re yet to see whether the smartphone will be half as good as the rumors make it out to be, but given the company’s eagerness to dominate the smartphone market, we won’t put it past HTC to surprise us.
The smartphone is expected to be revealed in March, with a Desire smartphone expected to be revealed in next week’s CES event. Stay tuned for more details on this mystery Hima flagship.
