New leak reveals hardware of the LG G4

The LG G4 is expected to take the world markets by storm this year. But before that happens, it’s only natural that we get a brief rundown of its specs, albeit from unconfirmed sources. We’re stumbling across one such leak today, which gives us a rough idea of what to expect from the smartphone as far as hardware is concerned.

An image which was allegedly taken from the smartphone with a resolution of 5312 × 2988 tells us that the company could be using a 16-megapixel sensor here. The device is also expected to be featuring 3GB of RAM with Android 5.0 running by default.

The mention of the Snapdragon 810 chip however is what caught our attention. Several reports have mentioned that Qualcomm’s chipset was facing overheating related issues, leading to potential delays in launch. This is why Samsung is believed to be using its custom Exynos chipset with the Galaxy S6.

The LG G4 should also pack a 2K resolution display, but that’s a no brainer given that the LG G3 also has a 2K display. And lowering the display resolution will be considered a step backwards, so it’s fair to assume we’ll see a Quad HD display again with the G4.

What are the features that you want to see on the LG G4? Let us know.
