The HTC One M9 is about to launch on the 1st of March as a company teaser clearly pointed out. A new leak from an industry source has now revealed the smartphone in a couple of pictures, revealing the design changes made with the new flagship. Evidently, not a lot is different with the 2015 iteration of the One flagship.
The back portion of the smartphone however seems to have received significant tweaking with no depth focusing sensor in sight. This means HTC will take the conventional route and stick with just the one sensor on the back. However, since the top portion of the image is blocked out, we can’t tell for sure if the sensor is missing.
The front which is expected to house the Ultrapixel camera has a slightly narrower top speaker, although it shouldn’t interfere with the performance. The company’s BoomSound speakers have been one of the biggest selling points of One flagships, so we don’t think that will be changed with the One M9.
The smartphone is expected to be packing a Full HD display, an octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and a moderately sized battery. There’s only a little over a month to wait now, what do you think about these images?
