Users can now purchase tickets for their favorite concerts (musicians or comedians) directly using Google Search according to a post by Google. All you have to do is enter a search term like what’s shown on the screenshot above and you will be able to checkout directly using a button on Search. Google has teamed up with Ticketmaster, Ticketfly and AXS to bring this feature to Search.
In addition to searching for artists, users can also find these results when searching for an event at a particular venue. So if you’re looking to visit the Madison Square Garden and want to know what’s showing there, all you have to do is search for the name of the venue followed by the search string “schedule”.
Bear in mind that this doesn’t work with all venues around the globe, but most reputed venues in the UK and U.S. appear to be covered at this point. Google is certainly making the lives of its fans a lot easier with features like these. What do you think of this new addition?
