A new rumor has spilled the beans on what could possibly be one of the most powerful tablets we’ve ever seen. Known as the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra, the tablet will apparently break cover next year sporting a gargantuan hardware specs sheet.
If this report from a Chinese site is to be believed, the tablet will pack a whopping 12.9 inch display sporting an insane resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels, which is more than what we’ve seen on any device this size.
The tablet is also expected to be packing an octa core Snapdragon 810 SoC, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 64GB of internal storage and a rather odd 6GB of RAM. We’re taking that last bit with a large portion of salt as it won’t make sense for Sony to have a tablet with more than 3 or 4GB of RAM. The device should be packing Android 5.0 by default.
Other hardware details of the tablet are scarce at the moment, but it certainly sounds too good to be true. This could very well be a fan’s imagination of an ideal Sony tablet, so we’re going to treat this as a rumor until there’s evidence to prove otherwise. What do you make of a potential Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra?
